Spring Forward works with individuals, businesses, and groups to perfect their writing so that it can be made public, shared, or published. I am the only editor available at Spring Forward at the moment. However, that doesn't change the quick turnaround time, quality of work produced, or attention given to each work submitted. I will not produce work that I would not accept. About me: I have worked as an editor, managing editor, writer, journalist, and public speaker. My degrees are in Communication-Journalism, English, and Creative Writing. I write anything from scripts to books to essays to poetry. You name it, I have either written it or have taken part in writing it. I am published and have had every written work I edited last year published. The works I edited this year are in their final stages. So why am I suddenly investing all of my time in offering my own writing and editing services? Because I wish to branch out and offer a wider range of services to everyone. I want to give everyone a chance at having their story told and getting their work edited. Working for a publisher is great and I enjoyed it while I did. Unfortunately, I witnessed amazing writers denied services too often because they only wanted a book edited and not published or they wanted help writing their biography. Publishing houses don't cover those areas of writing. I do. I am not a publishing house, and I will not limit what I edit or write or who I write and edit for.
How do you get involved? If you are seeking gainful employment, an internship, or a volunteer position with Spring Forward, refer to the Current Events page for these opportunities. They are updated frequently, so check back often for new openings. Majority of the positions are virtual, but there are a few that are paid. These positions will only be listed on this website. If you see them anywhere else, they are fraudulent postings. I do not post on Craigslist, Facebook, or Twitter. If you are unsure of what position you would like to fill, please send your resume to springforwardeditor@gmail.com. Applications for paid positions are retained for 90 days. Internship and volunteer applications are retained for a year. If you are no longer interested in a position, please let me know so that your name will be removed from the list.
